The word “Dream”[梦] is an official word in China for propaganda since 2012. It refers to a national dream about china’s revival and is printed everywhere in public space. I play with the “Dream[梦] by projecting it in public as live installation and lighting performance to create multiple meanings beyond its original contexts. By photographing the projection, the Word and the Landscape are recombined and turned into an image of dreamland and a metaphor about ambiguous meaning of Dream.

[梦]是施焦在中国所做的大地投影作品，他在荒野、城市，工地等空间投射字符“梦”，重构了作为标语的“梦”的含义。同时，他将被投影的空间重新拍成照片，探索“梦”这个字符作为图像而产生的暗示效果，形成了关于大地山川、城市荒野的多元梦境。
